Similar to Origin’s Times of Lore and Ultima series, Daemonsgate was hyped in the press as an “undoubted smash-hit” for Gremlin. Developed by long-time stable-mate Imagitec, the game was never released by the Sheffield publisher – instead Imagitec chose to self-publish. An unreleased Atari Lynx prototype of the game can still be found to download or buy on the internet.
